According to the Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov, a consignment of humanitarian aid has been delivered from Russia to Syrian Latakia by means of an aircraft of the Russian Defense Ministry.
"Planes of the military transport aviation of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation delivered to the airfield Latakia in Syria another consignment of humanitarian aid with things of basic necessities, as well as food for the civilian population. This equipment helps to deploy a campground for more than 1 thousand refugees,’’ RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
