Russian juniors win silver medal in tumbling team competitions

Finals of the tumbling competitions among junior teams in the framework of the European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline have ended in Baku.

British athletes won the gold medal. The best results were shown by Yeden Paddock (37.100 points), William Cowen (35.400 points) and William Finn (35.300 points). British athletes scored 107,800 points in total.

The second place was taken by Russian team, which scored 101.100 points. Igor Shikunov (34,300 points), Arseniy Stepanyan (34 points) and Egor Seleznev (32,800 points) showed the best results.

Ukraine got the bronze medal with 100.200 points.

The 26th European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline is currently held in Baku. More than 400 gymnasts from 25 countries are expected to participate in it. In the first two days of the competitions, qualifications for all types of events both among junior and senior gymnasts as well as finals among teams were held, on the last day, medalists will be known in all four types of the gymnastics events.
