Today the sapper unit of the International Mine Action Centre has cleared more than 20 hectares in the historic part of Palmyra from mines, the Center for Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria reports.
3 hectares were cleared of mines with the help of robotic means. "152 explosive objects were defused,'' Interfax cites the centre's bulletin.
