Russian observers: No violations during parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

The Russian observation mission has reported on its work at the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. People voted in a calm atmosphere and no violations were noted during the elections.

"We visited Baku, the Binagadi district, the city of Sumgait, as well as the Mingachevir, Yevlakh and Salyan electoral constituencies (numbers 9, 10, 42, 47, 48, 59, 60 and 61). I and my colleagues saw that the elections were held calmly without any violations of the law,’’ RIA Novosti cites a member of the Russian Central Electoral Commission, the coordinator of the Central Electoral Commission as a part of the CIS observation mission, Sergei Danilenko.
