Russian oil companies and government fail to reduce oil production

The meeting between Russian oil companies and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak has led to nothing: the participants of the meeting failed to agree on a possible reduction of oil production and export.

Some companies are interested in the reduction of oil production and, consequently, exports, however, they failed to come to a consensus as plans of specific companies are too different, RNS reports, referring to its sources.
