Russian soldiers, in the framework of battalion tactical exercises, held shooting exercises at a landfill in Abkhazia, the press service of the Southern Military District reported.
"During the exercise, soldiers worked out matters of defensive and offensive operations, search and destruction of sabotage and reconnaissance groups of a putative enemy, withdrawal from the battlefield and escape to designated areas for a regrouping of forces, as well as working out elements of logistical support of units in wartime," RIA Novosti cites the report.
