Russian swimmers set to win more medals

Russian swimmers Yelisey Stepanov, Vladislav Kozlov, Arina Openysheva and Maria Kameneva have won four gold medals in 4x100 freestyle today and told Vestnik Kavkaza that they were planning to win more medals. Their contribution makes the total count of Russian gold medals 50.


Openysheva expressed satisfaction with the day and noted that her results improved. She lost to Marrit Steenbergen (Denmark) in the 100m distance and won silver. Openysheva admitted that she did not like her nickname Mini Phelps.
