Russian taekwondo fighters Albert Gaun and Anastasia Baryshnikova entered the semifinals of the competitions as part of the First European Games in Baku.
Albert Gaun, acting in the weight category up to 80 kg, took a lead over Arman Yeremyan from Armenia with the score of 5:2. Anastasia Baryshnikova, acting in the weight category up to 67 kg, defeated Alexandra Kshemenetskaya from Poland with the score of 11:3.
Gaun will compete in the semifinal with Roberto Botta (Italy) and Baryshnikova with Habi Nair (France).
