Tennis players from Russia and Belarus will be able to play in the US Open tournament in the USA. This was reported by the American Tennis Association.
At the same time, in a statement posted on the tournament's official website, it is emphasized that the Russians will be allowed to compete only under a neutral flag.
"The association will allow athletes from Russia and Belarus to compete individually in the 2022 tournament, but only under a neutral flag", the text says.
Let us remind you that the US Open will be held in New York from August 29 to September 11, 2022.
