President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated tennis player Elena Rybakina on her victory at the Wimbledon tournament, the Head of state's press service reports.
In his words, the Kazakh leader noted the athlete's highest skill, the will to triumph and her high culture of behavior on the court.
"Kazakh tennis player Elena Rybakina won a historic victory at the most prestigious Wimbledon tournament. I congratulate the outstanding athlete from the bottom of my heart", he wrote on his social network's page.
Tokayev also expressed gratitude to Rybakina for the successful performance under the flag of Kazakhstan and the promotion of its image on the world stage.
It is should be added that Rybakina is a native of Moscow and she became the youngest winner in the history of Wimbledon. Elena is 23 years old.
