Russian women become  first in double mini-trampoline team competitions  at European Championship in Baku

The finals of the women double mini-trampoline team competitions were completed in Baku.

As a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports, the first place was taken by a team from Russia, which scored 102.800 points. The best results were shown by Polina Troyanova (34.800 points), Dana Sadkova (34.400 points) and Sofia Bogdanova (33.600 points).

The third place was taken by the athletes from Great Britain, who scored 102,300 points. The best results in the team were shown by Christy Way (34.500 points), Ruth Shevelan (34.100 points) and Phoebe Williams (33.700 points).

Portugal team won the bronze medals by scoring 101 points. The best results were shown by Mafalda Bras (35 points), Ines Martins (33.100 points) and Sarah Susa (33 points).

The 26th European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline is currently held in Baku. More than 400 gymnasts from 25 countries are expected to participate in it. In the first two days of the competitions, qualifications for all types of events both among junior and senior gymnasts as well as finals among teams were held, on the last day, medalists will be known in all four types of the gymnastics events.
