Stepan Maryanyan has won the first gold medal at the Baku 2015 European Games. He was the best in the Greco-Roman wrestling in the weight category up to 59 kg.
In the final round, he defeated Soslan Daurov from Belarus, reports Vestnik Kavkaza in Baku.
This was the first medal for the Russian team at the games.
The bronze medal was won by Azerbaijani Elman Mukhtarov.
