Russians, Belarusians reigned supreme at World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling women's qualifications

Qualifications of women's individual program of the World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling  in Baku have just ended. Athletes from Russia and Belarus showed the best results, taking first six places.

Russia's Yana Pavlova took the first place with 105.21 points after two exercises. The second - Ganna Garchonok (Belarus) with 103.54 points, the third - Susana Kochesok (Russia) with 102.925 points, the fourth - Tatyana Pyatrenya (Belarus) with 101.775 points.

The fifth and sixth places were taken by Maria Makarinskaya (Belarus, 100.98 points) and Mary Golota (Russia, 100.545 points), but according to the rules only two representatives of the same country can be in the finals, so they won't be able to participate in the second day of the World Cup.

The new Olympic cycle’s first World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling will take place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on February 18-19. 85 trampoline and tumbling gymnasts from 15 countries will take part in the competitions on the basis of the new Code of Points coming into force in 2017. The qualifications will take place on February 18, finals will be held on February 19.
