Today the champions in rowing were determined at the First European Games in Baku. The Russians Alexey Korovashkov and Ilya Pervukhin became silver medalists in canoe-pair at 1000m distance. The gold medal in this discipline went to Andrew and Aliaksandr Bagdanovich from Belarus, Peter Kretschmer and Michael Muller from Germany won bronze.
In general, at the moment the best results in rowing are shown by the teams of Germany and Hungary.
