Russia’s Chief Military Prosecutor resigns

Russia’s Chief Military Prosecutor, Sergey Fridinsky, has resigned. This information, previously reported by a source in the Federation Council, was confirmed today by the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, Viktor Ozerov.

The Federation Council plans to consider his resignation at April 26 session. It will be discussed in advance on April 25 by the committees on constitutional legislation and on defense and security.
