In Russia, an election campaign has begun for the elections, which will be held on a single voting day on September 11th, the press service of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation informs.
About 45 million voters will participate in the elections, and a total of about 4,000 election campaigns will take place, Interfax writes.
On a single voting day in September, elections will be held for 15 top officials of the constituent entities (14 direct elections, in Adygea the head of the republic is elected by deputies of the State Council), deputies of 6 legislative assemblies, 12 councils of deputies of the administrative centres of the constituent entities, as well as elections to local governments at various levels.
