The Russian President described the dynamics of development of Russian-Azerbaijani relations. According to Vladimir Putin, relations between Moscow and Baku are developing successfully and pragmatically.
Bilateral relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are developing successfully, the process is reliable and pragmatic, the Russian President said at a meeting with the heads of the global news agencies.
“You know, we feel the spirit of the Azerbaijani leadership to build interstate ties precisely on the basis of mutual interest and, I would say, even to a certain extent, on fellow feeling for each other,”
– Vladimir Putin said.
The Russian leader also outlined the situation with the Russian language in Azerbaijan. The President recalled that there are about 300 schools in the republic, the students of which are getting education in Russian.
Putin noted that the study of the Russian language in Azerbaijan receives the full support of President Ilham Aliyev.
