The International rating agency Standard & Poor's has published today a confirmation of long-term and short-term rating of Azerbaijan at the level of BBB- / A-3 with the previous negative outlook. The agency said that the outlook could be changed to stable if there is a decrease of pressure on the budget of Azerbaijan.
According to Trend, S & P predicts the preservation of the current account surplus in Azerbaijan over the next four years. "The current account will be maintained till 2019, when Azerbaijan is going to start export of large volumes of natural gas to Europe from gas condensate field ‘Shah Deniz-2’, the expect the agency said.
