The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plans to launch the first work within Phase 3 of development of Caspian gas condensate field Shah Deniz not before 2027, abc.az reports.
SOCAR advisor to vice president Vitaly Beglarbekov has stated that currently negotiations on Phase 3 of the project are not conducted, and the relevant agreement on the postponement of talks was achieved in 2013.
"Phase 3 of Shah Deniz Project will be realized, and work in this direction is underway and will be continued, and the first results of these works can be seen after 2026 or 2027," Beglarbekov said.
