President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, Rovnag Abdulayev, held a meeting with the Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat. They discussed opportunities to further develop cooperation in the energy sector and prospects for the expansion of investment projects.
The two sides also reviewed the implementation of SOCAR investment projects in Malta, noting that the works are being carried out in accordance with the schedule.
The document signed between the Ministries of Energy of Azerbaijan and Malta provides for cooperation in the oil and gas sector, as well as the creation of new infrastructure, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.
