SOCAR has managed to prevent an ecological disaster in the form of an oil spill from a well of the burning Platform №10 at the Guneshli field, a source in the oil and gas market reports.
All the necessary steps were taken today. A fire at one of the wells, the one that could cause the strongest environmental damage in case of a spill, was finally extinguished, Trend reports.
