The chief engineer of SOCAR’s Azneft production association, Balamirza Aliragimov, said that the fire on the offshore platform has spread to some wells.
According to him, it is planned to use additional equipment, fire-fighting means and additional vessels.
“Searches will continue in all weather conditions, even if the wind speed reaches 25 meters per second. We have all the technical means and capabilities,” Trend cited him as saying.
