An officer of the Special Operations Forces (MTR) of Russia has been killed during a combat mission near the Syrian city of Palmyra, located in the province of Homs, the representative of the Russian Hmeymim home station informed.
"An officer of Russian special operations forces has been killed near the village of Tadmor during the performance of a specific task to guide Russian aircraft strikes on terrorist targets of Daesh,’’ Interfax cites the source as saying.
