The governor of the Odessa region, Mikheil Saakashvili, has said that Ukraine has enough resources to feed the whole of Europe.
"Ukraine has natural resources, industry, educated people and fabulous farmers, who could feed the whole of Europe," he said.
He believes that Ukraine is the poorest country in Europe at the moment. "This is a disaster, because if we compare the resources of Ukraine with the resources of other countries, it is contrary to the laws of nature," he added.
