The governor of the Odessa region, Mikheil Saakashvili, wrote on his Facebook page that he celebrated New Year "in the trenches on the front line."
According to the head of the region, during the celebratory night he was "in the trenches on the front lines with the 28th separate Odessa guard mechanized brigade."
Saakashvili also remembered that he met last New Year, as the president of Georgia, with the military personnel of this state, and therefore he noted similarities between the military of the two countries, gazeta.ru reports.
