The head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Mikheil Saakashvili, has criticized the appointments of citizens of other countries to senior posts in the Ukrainian customs service during a broadcast on the TV channel '112 Ukraine'.
"I do not believe that the Ukrainian custom services should be managed by foreigners. I am totally against the fact that we are going to bring in British and Americans. This is nonsense!" gazeta.ru quoted him as saying.
According to the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, these posts should by occupied by Ukrainians, which implies the exclusion of human intervention with the help of transferring the main activity to computer programs.
