On Saturday, supporters of ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili held a protest outside the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Sputnik Georgia reports.
It is clarified that one of the demands was the resignation of the head of the department.
One of the protesters was detained by law enforcement officers for petty hooliganism.
Saakashvili is currently undergoing treatment at the Gori military hospital.
