A bronze medalist of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, Uzbek gymnast Sabina Tashkenbaeva, who became the 3rd in the exercises with clubs, admitted in an interview with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza that she leaves Azerbaijan in a wonderful mood.
"The mood is just excellent, I received the most wonderful impressions in Baku. The tournament went very well, we were accepted in an exemplary manner, "she said.
Sabina Tashkenbaeva told that her father brought her to gymnastics. "At first, I was brought to artistic gymnastics, but there I was told that I was too plump - and I was taken to rhythmic gymnastics. I love gymnastics, because it hardens, gives endurance and ensures beautiful figure, " the Uzbek gymnast said.
The 4th Islamic solidarity Games are held in Baku on May 8-22. Athletes will compete at 16 sports facilities in 17 Olympic and three non-Olympic types of sports. Rhythmic and sports gymnastics competitions were included in the program of the Islamic Solidarity Games for the first time on the initiative of the First Vice President of Azerbaijan, President of the Federation of Gymnastics of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva.
