I am very happy that universities from all regions of the country, from all of its geographical locations are among them," Victor Sadovnichiy said.

He noted that the beautiful platform for the festival of science has been organized for several years by the University of Kabardino-Balkaria. "Since the creation of the festival, the Kabardino-Balkarian University has taken a very active part in it. There's always an interest in science, they maintain very close connections with our physicists, with those who are engaged in the natural sciences, and the platform of the festival is always carried out with dignity there," the rector of Moscow State University stated.

"I hope that this year the Southern Federal University and, of course, the University of Rostov – our permanent partner – will also participate. By the way, last year it was one of the main regional platforms," he noted.

Sadovnichiy stressed that the festival of science will go to all the universities of all the constituent parts of Russia. "So all the universities in all the regions of Russia, including the North Caucasus, will take part in our festival," the rector pointed out.

A year ago, he said, the platform of the festival was organized in Baku. "Last year, the Festival of Science was also held in Azerbaijan. We are happy that other countries, our neighboring countries, adopt this idea and take part in our celebration," Sadovnichiy concluded.

The Minister of Education and Science, Dmitry Livanov, during the press conference praised the festival as "the most important scientific event of the year." "There is no doubt that this year's total attendance of events will exceed the level of last year," TASS quoted him as saying.
