15th Summer European Youth Olympic Festival was organized extremely well, champion of the competitions in judo in the 66 kg category Saikhan Shabikhanov told in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
“Everything was beautiful, everything was good, organized extremely well. I liked it very much,” he said.
Speaking about Baku, Saikhan Shabikhanov called it a very beautiful city. “It's pretty hot, of course, but it doesn’t get in the way of competitions. Everything is great,” judoka said.
The XV Summer European Youth Olympic Festival is being held in Baku on July 21-27. The festival will be attended by more than 3,900 athletes from 48 European countries. Athletes will compete in ten kinds of sports - gymnastics, athletics, basketball, cycling, handball, judo, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling. In total, athletes will compete for 135 sets of medals.
