Azerbaijani athlete Samir Nabiyev has won a gold medal in men’s shot put F57 competitions as part of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku.
Iran’s Javid Shakib Ehsani ranked second and other Iranian athlete Javad Dalakeh ranked third in the competitions.
The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games are being held in Baku from May 8 to 22. Athletes will compete at 16 sports facilities in 20 types of sports - 17 Olympic and three non-Olympic ones.
