A total of 145 people asked for medical attention in Iran's Sistan-Baluchestan Province due to the respiratory problems caused by sandstorm, the provincial head of the local crisis management body in the province Abdol Rahman Shahnavazi said.
Shahnavazi added that a total of 145 people have referred to the hospitals and healthcare centers in Iran's southeastern province since Saturday due to breathing, eye and heart problems, out of whom 27 people were hospitalized, IRNA reported.
Sick people and senior citizens have been asked to stay home in some parts of the province.
