Two people accused of car theft and attempted theft of a moped were detained in Batumi, the message published on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reads.
According to the investigation, one of thieves stole a car. He was detained on his way to the neighboring region - Guria, on the Batumi-Supsa highway, the car was seized as evidence.
The second thief was caught red-handed while trying to steal a moped on one of Batumi streets.
