The steps towards integration into the EAEU, as well as the European Union, have become the key event of the past year for Armenia, the head of state Serzh Sargsyan stated at the traditional New Year's reception at the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
"The most important events for Armenia in the current year were joining the Eurasian Economic Union, the beginning of negotiations on a new legal document on relations with the EU. Realistic decisions on involvement in these integration processes are of great importance from the point of view of the further development of Armenia,’’ Tass cites him as saying.
