In the near future the new Constitution of Armenia will become the document of national agreement, President Serzh Sargsyan said at a meeting with representatives of the legislative, executive and judicial authorities, heads of territorial administrations and local self-government.
"When we proposed the constitutional changes, we proceeded from the belief that the new version would be more democratic and it would extend the range of freedoms and, consequently, the possibilities of Armenian citizens. Today, we stick to the same opinion,'' News Armenia cites him as saying.
