Saudi Arabia expects about 1.5 million pilgrims this year

This year the number of pilgrims expected to perform the hajj in Mecca is to be about 1.5 million people, the Ministry of the Hajj reports.

This was announced after the end of today's meeting of the central committee for the organization of the Hajj, headed by the Emir of the administrative district of Mecca, advisor to the King Khalid al-Faisal.
