Saudi Arabia has no plans to enrich uranium, US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said, refuting earlier media reports.
"There are no plans in Saudi Arabia for enrichment",
Wright said at the opening of the 70th IAEA General Conference in Vienna.
The Wall Street Journal had previously reported that the US‑Saudi civil nuclear cooperation agreement allowed for uranium enrichment up to 20%.
