In Uralsk, children over 14 years old, with the consent of their parents, are invited to work in school gardens during the summer. Teenagers will be able to earn 42,500 tenges per month.
"Seven schools in our city will participate in the project. We want to give our students the opportunity to effectively and usefully spend three months of summer holidays. 120 students will be paid 42,500 tenges by the Uralsk employment centre," methodologist of the Uralsk Department of Education Tursyn Temirsheeva explained Channel One Eurasia.
Children will also be taught gardening in 12 districts of the West Kazakhstan region.
