Scientists have observed an improvement of the ecological situation in the Middle East in connection with the conflict which has engulfed the region.
After analyzing satellite data, they found a reduced level of the emission concentrations in large cities affected by war, civil unrest or economic crisis, particularly nitrogen dioxide.
