According to the Russian Foundation for Advanced Studies, an ultra-strong polymer, superior in strength to metal, was developed by the staff of the Kabardino-Balkar State University.
According to the experts, the materials of the new generation of super constructive polymers are economical in production, thermo- and frost-proof, and resistant to radiation. In addition, they are more than twice as light and six times stronger than aluminum.
In addition, the Fund noted that new materials will be used in the aircraft and rocket construction, production of cars and the manufacture of the equipment operating in the critical temperature conditions, RIA Kabardino-Balkaria reports.
