Gymnast Canadian gymnast Scott Morgan, who has advanced to the men's rings finals of the FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics in Baku told Vestnik Kavkaza about his impressions of the tournament, which was organized in the capital of Azerbaijan for the first time.
"The organizers did a good job. The competitions are being held at a great level. The arena, halls, podiums are great," he stressed.
According to the gymnast, the Canadian team showed good results at the World Cup. "Our team is performing successfully. Yesterday it was a little difficult to start, but we ended the day in a good position. Today our performance is good too," he said.
Scott Morgan also spoke warmly of the capital of Azerbaijan. "Baku is wonderful, it's a really beautiful city. This is my first time here and it's a real pleasure," the athlete admitted.
