Second earthquake strikes Western Türkiye's Balıkesir

A magnitude 4.5 earthquake has struck western Türkiye's Balıkesir province on the morning of November 10, according to Turkish media.

The November 10 quake occurred at 5:48 AM local time with its hypocenter in Sındırgı district at 13.3 km depth.

Several aftershocks were felt across Balıkesir and neighboring provinces following the main tremor.

 

The earthquake follows a similar magnitude 4.5 quake that shook the same area overnight around 1:00 AM.
