Senator Dmitry Sablin meets with Speaker of Syrian Parliament

Today, a meeting was held in Damascus between the Syrian Parliament Speaker, Mohammed Jihad al-Lyahham, and a delegation of the Russian parliamentarians and representatives of the All-Russian public organization of veterans ‘Combat Brotherhood’ headed by the Senator Dmitry Sablin.

The issues of activation of inter-parliamentary cooperation, humanitarian assistance in Syria and the country’s post-war reconstruction were discussed during the meeting.
