The chief of the finance and budget department of the Armenian Finance Ministry, Vazgen Gabrielyan, died in a car crash in Yerevan yesterday.
The deputy head of the Internal Audit Department Ministry of Finance, Karen Avagyan, was injured in the accident and hospitalized.
A case has been initiated under Article 242 of the Armenian Criminal Code 'Violation of traffic rules or operation of vehicles entailing the death of a person'.
