Serbia to open diplomatic representation in Tbilisi

A diplomatic representation of Serbia will be opened in Tbilisi, according to the Georgian Parliament.

The Speaker of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze met the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic in Serbia yesterday to discuss opening a diplomatic representation in Georgia. The two officials also discussed direct flights between the countries.

Kobakhidze said that the opening of diplomatic representation and direct flights will significantly facilitate bilateral relations.

"The President of Serbia made the decision to open the diplomatic representation of Serbia in Georgia. He also assigned respective agencies to start working on direct flights," Agenda.ge cited the speaker as saying.

He noted that the diplomatic representation of Serbia will be opened in Georgia "in the coming months."
