The State Duma Speaker, Sergei Naryshkin has attended the honoring of the winners and award-holders at the First European Games from the Russian team, which has been held in the House of Fans in Baku. He congratulated the Russian swimmers on their excellent results at the Games, and expressed hope that the pace will be maintained for future competitions.
"You have brought this country a plethora of medals and made happy the Russians who breathlessly watched you closely, waiting for your success, it is really a little miracle! And we want to make this miracle happen again many more times," Naryshkin said.
