According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, head of the department Sergei Lavrov will arrive to China on Monday for a two-day working visit. On Tuesday, in Guilin, he will hold talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
The ministry clarified that the diplomats will discuss prospects for strategic interaction between Russia and China, including the coordination of epidemiological actions to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
The ministers also plan to exchange views on a wide range of issues of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the international arena - in the UN, SCO, BRICS and other platforms.
