Sergey Lazarev is set to represent Russia for a second time at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.
Lazarev reportedly will perform a song composed by Philip Kirkorov, as well as Dimitris Kontopulus and produced by Ilias Kokotos. Fokas Evangelinos is also reported to be returning as the staging director for the contest.
The song that the Russian singer is reported to be performing on stage in Tel Aviv that will be a "power-ballad, something grand and epic", that has been recorded with a full symphony orchestra, Eurovoix reported.
The singer who represented Russia in 2016, according to the Russian media has been selected by VGTRK, something that the broadcaster has refused to confirm yet.
VGTRK said earlier that they will announce their participant in Eurovision 2019 at the end of January.
