Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has paid an official visit to Turkmenistan. According to the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov, Sergey Shoigu is to hold talks with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and meet with his counterpart Yaylym Berdiyev.
It is also reported that RF Defense Minister "will discuss international and regional safety issues of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation (MTC), as well as mutually beneficial ways of activation,'' RIA Novosti reports.
