The first plenary session of the Azerbaijani parliament’s fifth convocation was opened today. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is attending the session.
The head of Azerbaijani parliament’s administration, Sefa Mirzayev, opened the event, noting that the session will be chaired by the oldest member of the parliament, Fattah Heydarov.
The event will consider the organizational issues and the speaker and deputy speakers of the parliament, as well as chairmen of the committees will be elected, AzerTAg reports.
